At Johnson Vivian’s Learning Academy, we believe in the potential of every student. Our programs encourage these learners to exchange their knowledge and openness to developing new ideas. Our mission

The mission of Johnson and Vivian’s Alford- Learning Academy, LLC, is to reverse the decline in failing public schools.

Our vision of American schools is all students achieve at his/her grade level and his/her ability level. It is our strong belief that every individual achieves—no exceptions, no excuses. We are driven by the belief that an individual should only be in a grade once; and everyone deserves a second chance.

Our primary purpose is to focus on helping turn-around the learners that could not function in a regular classroom setting and those who have altered their chances of getting their high school diploma, or GED.

At the same time, we are compatible in that we work with a wide variety of existing programs—be they for professional development, curriculum, or teaching. We believe that human change can be fully executed by offering existing models—and approaches many of which work, but only if one desires to implement behavior that altars that change through moral behavior and education.

The goals here at Johnson Vivian’s Learning Academy is to :

Johnson- Vivian Learning Academy, LLC chose this common, large songbird because “Blue Jays” are known for their intelligence and complex social systems with tight family bonds. “Blue Jays” are familiar to many people, with their perky crest; blue, white, and black plumage; and noisy calls. Their fondness for acorns is credited with helping spread oak trees after the last glacial period. “Blue Jays”, they often mate for life, remaining with their social mate throughout the year. The Blue Jay vocalization most often considered a song is the “whisper song,” a soft, quiet conglomeration of clicks, chucks, whirrs, whines, liquid notes, and elements of other calls; a singing about may last longer than 2 minutes. “Blue Jays” make a large variety of calls. The most often heard is a loud jeer. Also makes clear whistled notes and gurgling sounds. “Blue Jays” frequently mimic hawks, especially Red-shouldered Hawks. The “J” stands for the owner’s (my) median name (Johnson), “A” (middle name “Ann”) “V” (first name “Vivian”) “A” (married name “Alford”) and “CCS” (for what we do) “Computer Consultant Services.”
